Following the completion of the Cangdong Shale oil No. 5 benefit development test platform in 2023, Dagang Oilfield built the Qikou Shale oil No. 6 benefit development test platform at the beginning of this year, and the production efficiency reached the standard. So far, Dagang oilfield has set up pilot test platforms for benefit development in Cangdong and Qikou depressions, forming a sequence of continental stratified shale oil benefit production technology.

The exploration area of Dagang Oilfield is rich in shale oil resources, and the exploration of continental shale oil began as early as 2013, relying on the 500-meter system coring data to carry out analysis and enrichment law. In 2023, Cangdong Shale oil No. 5 benefit development test platform will be put into production, marking that shale oil in Dagang Oilfield has entered a new stage of benefit development. Qikou Shale Oil No. 6 benefit development test platform is built for the purpose of carrying out the key technology tests of benefit development such as new depression, long horizontal section of new strata optimal rapid drilling and completion, perforating fault distribution and fracturing interference prevention. By optimizing the oil-based drilling fluid system, Dagang Oilfield has set many records, such as the longest horizontal drilling section of shale oil in Qikou sag and the shortest drilling period above 6000 meters. After the platform was put into operation, it showed the characteristics of "early oil, stable pressure and high output".

In the process of platform construction, Dagang Oilfield, aiming at the problem of efficient production construction of continental stratified shale oil, iteratively upgraded the replicable technical sequence of efficient production of shale oil, established the stratified shale oil enrichment model, defined the engineering parameters of efficient development of shale oil, innovated the shale oil volume fracturing technology 2.0 version, and created a new production process of shale oil CCUS. On this basis, the whole life cycle process management system of shale oil and the on-site organization model of "platform manager responsibility, market operation, and data intelligent control" were constructed, and the whole electric drive drilling and fracturing and 10,000 tons of carbon storage were realized, and the "green zero carbon" development demonstration platform was successfully created.
